About Dr. Akhavan

After receiving his DMD from A.T. Still University, Dr. Akhavan completed his periodontic residency at NYU. He continues furthering his education most recently by becoming certified in the LANAP laser technology for periodontal surgery.

Dr. Akhavan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which is the highest level of professional achievement in periodontics and a distinction achieved by a few very number of periodontists.

In his free time, Dr. Akhavan enjoys traveling and going to the beach with his wife, Jessica.
